About imp in a sweater

Imp in a sweater is Alison Cooley. She is based in Toronto, a settler on the traditional territories of the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee, and Huron-Wendat. She makes traditional and digital illustrations, maps, patterns, and ceramics, and dabbles in knitwear and game design. Trained in fine art, she has spent over a decade working in museum and art-education settings. Her illustration practice is driven by play, informed by materials, and underpinned by a belief in the world-shaping capacities of storytelling.
